Is your home or property being invaded by bush honeysuckle, Autumn Olive, or callery pear? Not sure? Join the Missouri Department of Conservation and Lincoln County Master Gardeners to learn management techniques to help you rid your property of these pesky and persistent invasive species and add natural value back into the landscape. Workshop sessions include a background of the plants, how to identify, techniques for effective eradication, and a hands-on work session. Please bring any pruning or cutting hand tools that you may use in your yard or property, we will also have some on hand. The informative portion of the program will be followed by a hands-on honeysuckle pull* in Page Branch Park.
The workshop is open to all Missouri landowners and homeowners. Lunch and helpful literature will be provided free of charge.
