Invasive to Watch This Month
Burning bush (Euonymus alatus) is a deciduous shrub that can grow up to 20 ft. tall and invades forest areas (disturbed and undisturbed), old fields, and roadsides. It displaces native plants once established often in dense thickets. Its fruit is mostly spread by wildlife, but this invasive is also labeled, sold, and planted as "ornamental".
