Accepting Nominations for 2025 Invasive Plant Action Awards

January 31, 2025 | News

MoIP is now accepting nominations for the 2025 Invasive Plant Action Awards. The deadline is April 30, 2025. The application form and other information are detailed on the Invasive Plant Action page.

Since 2019, MoIP has used the Invasive Plant Action Award program to recognize outstanding work in Missouri to control invasive plant species. Not only do these awards celebrate hard work and leadership, but they also demonstrate to Missourians that control of invasive plants is possible and essential to overall land stewardship efforts.

Past winners have included individuals, schools, non-profit organizations, and collaborative working groups. In 2024, we awarded our first award in the “Researcher” category. We encourage you to learn about past winners and their important work here.

The Missouri Prairie Foundation (MPF) and its Grow Native! program are also now accepting nominations for the Grow Native! awards and Missouri Prairie Foundation awards (prairie pioneer, prairie professional, prairie communicator, prairie volunteer, and prairie landowner). Information about these awards can be found here.
